His comments come after Kenyan Prince, whose real name is Raymond Omosa, reportedly gifted his girlfriend KSh 1 million in cash and a brand-new Range Rover as part of his apology. This extravagant gesture has raised eyebrows and sparked discussions about the legitimacy of Forex trading as a source of wealth, especially given the controversies surrounding Kenyan Prince's trading claims.

Kenyan Prince has been a polarizing figure in the Forex trading scene. In March 2026, South African trader Jay Froneman publicly questioned the legitimacy of Omosa's trading results, pointing out inconsistencies in his displayed profits. Additionally, in December 2023, he admitted to scamming someone out of KSh 100,000 by selling fake betting odds online, further complicating his credibility.
