Khalif Kairo Spotted with New Girlfriend Amid Legal Troubles

Joseph Kairo Wambui, popularly known as Khalif Kairo, was recently seen driving around Nairobi in his Porsche with a new girlfriend, as reported by #bnnpaparazzi.

Kairo has been in the spotlight for his tumultuous relationships, including high-profile breakups with content creator Cera Imani and Miss World Kenya 2019/2020 Maria Wavinya. His marriage to Wavinya lasted only four months before they split, coinciding with Kairo's mounting legal issues. There have been accusations suggesting that some of his romantic endeavors are merely public relations stunts aimed at enhancing his brand.

Khalif Kairo is a Nairobi-based car dealer and entrepreneur, known for his flashy lifestyle and controversial public persona. His business dealings have recently come under scrutiny, particularly after he was charged in January 2025 with defrauding clients of Ksh.5.1 million through unfulfilled vehicle importation deals, according to Citizen.

The situation has been complicated by a toxic fallout with his former business partner, Clement Kinuthia, which involved personal accusations of infidelity and corporate sabotage. Kairo's legal troubles have led to multiple charges, including tax fraud amounting to Ksh.1.28 million, as reported by Kenyans. Despite these challenges, Kairo remains optimistic about transitioning his business to a fully digital automotive platform.

As Kairo navigates his new relationship, the public continues to watch his every move, particularly given his history of rapid romantic transitions and ongoing legal battles. His ability to maintain a public image amidst such controversies will be crucial as he seeks to rebuild his brand.
