Kenyan influencer and media personality Risper Faith has disclosed that she spent approximately KSh 1.5 million giving birth in the United States. She shared that her baby’s medical bill was around $3,000, while her own medical expenses amounted to about $7,000.

Risper advised expectant mothers considering traveling to the U.S. for childbirth to budget at least KSh 5 million, which would cover hospital bills, accommodation, and other related expenses. She traveled to the U.S. when she was around 32 weeks pregnant and ensured she had her medical records ready, as American healthcare providers typically require comprehensive patient histories.

Risper Faith is well-known in Kenya as a socialite and media personality, having gained fame through her appearances on reality television and her active presence on social media. Recently, she welcomed her second child in the U.S. after obtaining a Green Card, which has sparked discussions about the costs associated with childbirth abroad.
