Ezekiel Kyama Arraigned Over Anti-Finance Bill Protest Damage
Ezekiel Kyama Nzoki, widely recognized by his moniker 'Mr Speaker Sir,' has been arraigned at the Milimani Law Courts. He faces allegations of malicious damage to property during the anti-Finance Bill protests on June 25, 2024.
Prosecutors claim that Kyama, along with unidentified accomplices, was involved in the destruction of various properties belonging to the Parliamentary Service Commission. The damaged items reportedly include ICT equipment, vehicles, furniture, TV screens, electrical installations, and the perimeter fence, with an estimated value of KSh 41.2 million.
