Edwin Sifuna Leads Massive Political Rally in Nairobi

Nairobi was brought to a standstill as thousands of supporters turned up at Jacaranda Grounds for a major political rally led by Senator Edwin Sifuna. The massive turnout saw crowds fill the venue, signalling growing public interest in Sifuna’s political mobilisation efforts.

The event was part of the Linda Mwananchi movement's nationwide mobilization campaign ahead of the 2027 General Election. According to The Kenya Times, the rally commenced with a worship service at All Saints Cathedral, followed by the main political gathering at Jacaranda Grounds.

Edwin Sifuna, the Nairobi Senator, is known for his vocal opposition to the current administration and his active role in the opposition coalition. He has been a prominent figure in Kenyan politics, particularly in advocating for social justice and governance reforms.

The rally also featured significant contributions from other political figures, including Embakasi East MP Babu Owino, who played a crucial role in mobilizing support for the event.
