Edgar Obare Retains Blogger Influencer of the Year at the 2022 Pulse Influencer Awards

Edgar Obare has won Blogger Influencer of the Year at the Pulse Influencer Awards for the second year running.

The second edition of the awards was held on Saturday, October 15, 2022, at the Mövenpick Hotel & Residences in Nairobi, Capital FM reported. Pulse named 26 winners after public nominations shortlisted ten nominees in each category, followed by a public voting phase in September.

A crowded field

The blogger shortlist ran to ten names: Magunga, Biko Zulu, Edgar Obare (BNN), Farmers Trend, Bizna Kenya, Robert Alai, Potentash/Rahab, Abigail Arunga, Shikoh Msa and Cyprian Nyakundi.

The night’s other winners

Content creator and podcaster Murugi Munyi was the night’s biggest winner with three titles, Buzz Central reported. Just Ivy won Most Innovative Influencer and Business Influencer of the Year, sprinter Ferdinand Omanyala took Sports, Nikita Kering won Music, Natalie Tewa won Travel & Leisure and Shiv Simani won Health & Fitness.
